This was originally going to be a Mad Hatter party, but all us awkward nerds out there have a new leader - Weird Barbie! If you resonate with Weird Barbie, this Garden Party style tea party is for you.
Guests can expect a variety of tea beverages - from tea infused cocktails and mocktails, to gorgeous organic hot and chilled loose leaf teas. Tea ingredients are locally sourced from HoneyBee Sage Wellness & Apothecary and Rishi Tea. All beverages are included in the ticket price. Guests also get to choose and keep their tea cup! (Guests must be 21+ to attend)
Also included is catered noms from Dream Catering Co. which will include savory small bites, snacks, mini sweets, and more! **If you have a food allergy or preference, please note it in the Comments box upon check-out. We will do our best to accommodate!**
The Tea Party will feature lots of photo ops, a Casa Dojo Mojo Lounge, games, and more!
Floral will be provided by Flowers for Dreams. Our host character will be provided by Friend Like Me parties & entertainment.
When: Saturday, September 23, 1-4pm
Where: Holler Park Lodge (5151 S 6th St, Milwaukee, WI 53221) - it's a cute little log cabin style lodge in Milwaukee, WI. It's surrounded by wildflowers and is nestled next to a lagoon and a small woods with a walking trail. In the woods, there's a wooden bridge - the whole area is PERFECT for photo ops!
Dress: Garden party, Cottagecore, Barbiecore, fae, cosplay, any and all styles encouraged! Feeling femme? Wear a dress! Feeling masc? Suit for you! Do not stress over your outfit - put on whatever you feel amazing in and you'll fit in perfectly.
Tickets: This event is pricier than many of other others due to the custom nature of the beverages, food, set-up, and support required to provide the level of quality you've learned to expect from Awkward Nerd Events! Compared to other High Tea events, ours is twice as long and offers a greater variety of food and beverage options.
VIB: Very Important Barbie ($100)
- Ticket for entrance to the Tea Party. Includes all beverages and food for the duration of the event.
- Gift Bag that includes: special pink tea cup, pink fan, and other tea themed and custom made goodies!
SBB: Smart Budget Barbie ($75)
- You're equally important and recognize a need to have fun, while keeping an eye on that budget! This ticket level includes a ticket for entrance to the tea party, which includes all beverages and food for the duration of the event.
