**Pre-sale tickets have ended - tickets may be purchased at the door for $20. We accept cash, venmo, paypal, and credit card. See you at the Book Fair!**
Relive the nostalgia of your youth with a classic 90s themed Book Fair for adults! It's like the Fair you remember, but all grown up – and with a nerdy bent.
This year the Triploli Shrine Center (TSC) is excited to host us and support the explosive growth of the event. This venue change is huge - the ballroom has triple the space and will feature more booksellers, authors, game sellers/publishers, bookish vendors, food, and the ever popular 90s themed Craft Area.
We also have an opportunity for a handful of folks to join us for a very special cocktail sunset cruise the evening before the Book Fair - The Big Gay Pirate Cruise! (details below)
At the Awkward Nerd Book Fair, adult attendees will enjoy talks, panels, and signings that cover an expansive genre list, including: game designers, horror, poetry, punk, thriller, fantasy, comics, queer, and even some work that’s a little naughty and bawdy. ;-)
As always, there will be our famous themed cocktails and mocktails, a photobooth and special visit from a Red Dog. Who is big.
Details:
- Date: Sunday, September 22
- Time: 11am - 5pm
- Venue: Tripoli Shrine Center (3000 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53208)
**Special thanks to: Tripoli Shrine Center, Radio Milwaukee, and Feral Arts & Culture for their sponsorship support!**
