Join Awkward Nerd Events the last Sunday of each month for a crafty afternoon of making & mingling.
$15/person to partake in our craft, or bring your own project to work on for free! 18+ only, please. This is a time for grown-up self care!
Crafternoons take place from 12-3pm at The Sugar Maple (441 E Lincoln Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207). You may bring food into Sugar Maple, but, please, no carry-in beverages.

Get ready for Valentine's Day by learning how to make gorgeous ribbon roses! It's an easy and therapeutic craft and creates a great gift for a friend, loved one, or yourself.
Feb. 23: Dioramas with D Kirschling
D Kirschling hosts Milwaukee's annual Diorama-Rama event. In honor of that event, we'll learn all about dioramas, techniques, and supplies to make our own mini-dioramas. More details on Diorama-Rama here: http://www.nationaldioramamonth.com/
March 30: Spring Flower Crowns
Let's usher in Spring by making gorgeous flower crowns! Lisa has made a number of show-stopping designs and will teach her favorite techniques with unique materials.
May 25: Mosaic Coasters
Guests will learn how to make a fun, custom coaster using mosaic glass pieces. You'll learn how to design and create coasters that show off your style. Each attendee will leave with 2 coasters.
The number of kits we have for each project is limited, so don't wait if you'd like to participate in our activity! If the kits sell out or you want to work on your own project, there's no fee to join us! Just bring whatever you're working on and spend some time among crafty nerds.
**Purchases are non-refundable!** When you make your purchase, the items are purchased for you, so that money has been spent. If you are no longer able to attend, you may pass your kit along to someone else. Kit sales will end the week prior to the event. We will not offer kits for sale at the event as we cannot spend the money on a kit that might not be purchased. Thank you for understanding!
