Join Awkward Nerd Events the 4th Sunday of each month for a crafty afternoon of making & mingling.
$15/person to partake in our craft, or bring your own project to work on for free! 18+ only, please. This is a time for grown-up self care!
Crafternoons are 12-3pm at Cactus Club (2496 S Wentworth Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207). You'll find us in the back room!

May 26: Disco Rainbow Decor - If you purchase our kit, you will receive 3 wood rainbow pieces, adhesive mirror pieces, use of alcohol inks, gloves, and instruction on making your disco rainbow decor.
June 23: Paint by Number - With the purchase of our kit, you will receive numbered canvas, paints, brushes, other odds and ends such as paper towel, etc.
July 28: Tapered Candle Decor - By purchasing our kit, you will receive 3 tapered candles and access to all materials to shape, color, decorate your candles as you'd like, along with instruction on how to create each candle type.
August 25: Diamond Painting - With the purchase of our kit, you will receive a canvas, plus all diamonds and related materials to make your diamond painting, including instruction.
Sept. 29: Snappy Berets - We will be creating Fall/Halloween fashion berets utilizing the Saint Snap System by @greedy.peasant. By purchasing our kit, you will receive a beret, 10 snaps, thread/needles, hot glue, super glue, access to decorations, and instruction on making your beret. You may bring your own unique decorations to apply. Then get ready for a fashion photo shoot to show off your creation!
The number of kits we have for each project is limited, so don't wait if you'd like to participate in our activity! If the kits sell out or you want to work on your own project, there's no fee to join us! Just bring whatever you're working on and spend some time among crafty nerds.
**Purchases are non-refundable!** When you make your purchase, the items are purchased for you, so that money has been spent. If you are no longer able to attend, you may pass your kit along to someone else. Kit sales will end the week prior to the event. We will not offer kits for sale at the event as we cannot spend the money on a kit that might not be purchased. Thank you for understanding!
